The village of Germantown, Wisconsin is a small community located on the southeast corner of Washington County. Labeled as one of the “Best Places to Live” by Money Magazine in 2009, the village has proven to be an excellent place to reside. Amenities
There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in the village. The “Silo Mile” is the village’s main historic attraction for bicyclists to ride on. Nearby, Kettle Moraine offers trails for hiking and biking. The Pike Lake State Park is a great place for people to camp, fish and boat. There’s also cross-country skiing trails during the winter season at the park. There are many historic sites to see for residents to view during their walks or bike rides during the warmer months. Residents can visit apple, strawberry and pumpkin farms throughout the area. A seasonal Farmer’s Market is also held at the Senior Citizen Center.

The Germantown Parks and Recreation Department maintains 10 public parks throughout the village. Residents have many recreational programs and special events to choose from. Richfield Heritage Park is the main attraction for community programs and events. The parks offer baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts and playgrounds.

The Germantown area provides six golf courses including BlackStone Creek Golf Club, Lake Park Golf Course and the Riversbend Golf Club. Blackstone Creek Golf Course is a traditional 18-hole course with a few holes with doglegs to give even the most experienced golfer a challenge. The Menomonee River runs through the course.
