The Horicon Aquatic Center offers a recreational facility that residents can enjoy. The aquatic center offers a six-lane 25-meter lap pool, two large water slides, lounge area and concession stand. The facility is open from early June through late August.

Rock River Hills Golf Course provides an 18-hole course with gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. The course received a four and a half star rating by Golf Digest. There is also a pro-shop, dining room and clubhouse for golfers’ every need.

The area provides many outdoor recreational activities. The Rock River and Horicon Marsh have access to boat landings for boating or canoeing. The Rock River has popular scenic routes on the east branch that offer views of the Fourmile and Cotton Island Heron Rookery state natural areas. Canoeing is limited to the state-owned section of the Horicon Marsh. The marsh is known as a featured gathering for geese. The divided Horicon National Wildlife Refuge area of the marsh has different hunting regulations.

Residents have a couple of excellent options for trails and routes throughout Horicon and the neighboring communities. A 50-mile trail is maintained at Horicon Marsh Parkway for hiking and biking. The parkway has a route that circles around the Horicon Marsh providing picturesque scenery. The route passes through Mayville, Waupun, Burnett and Kekoskee. Visitors of the parkway can also cross country ski, hunt and fish in the area. The Wild Goose State Trail is a limestone trail that runs for 34-miles. The Wild Goose is a multi-purpose trail that includes hiking and biking.
