Located in the southern part of Fond du Lac County is the town of Ashford – home to just under 2,000 residents. It is primarily a rural area, composed of approximately 23,000 acres. Its close proximity to Highway 41 and 45 provide easy access to large metropolitan areas.

Ashford is located close to the communities of Campbellsport, Lomira and Kewaskum, which provide the town’s residents with an excellent education system, great shopping opportunities and numerous other activities.

The town has many natural features, including Lake Bernice, which offers many water activities, and the Eisenbahn State Park Trail, a 25-mile trail built on a former railroad corridor. The trail offers walking, biking and in-line skating. In the winter months, the park allows for snowmobiling and ATVs.
